Whitelaw clearly has a sense of irony, fitting the
beds with luxe Belgian sheets while lining the floors
with old school shag carpeting. Rooms are minimalist,
yet not screaming with that insane asylum, straitjacket
vibe, and there are free cocktails in the lobby nightly.
This is a place where you can let your hair down and
show your true roots. And it’s hard to resist
a hotel whose motto is ‘clean sheets, hot water,
stiff drinks’.
